MARS Synthesis Scale-Up Synthesizer The MARS System for Scale Up enables chemists to use non-pressurized vessels up to a 5 L round-bottom flask in the instrument, and allows access to these vessels through an attenuated port on top of the cavity for reflux condensers, reagent addition, overhead stirring, etc. The system can accommodate ground glass joints up to 29/42 in size.
