| Microwave-Enhanced
Chemistry Grant Program
CEM is pleased to offer a funding
initiative directed toward encouraging the full
exploration of microwave technology for use in
chemistry applications. The CEM Microwave-Enhanced
Chemistry Grant program provides professors active
in research and/or teaching that wish to include
microwave-enhanced chemistry as a part of their
program annual awards at the levels of up to
$4,000 for new research instrumentation, up to
$2,000 for teaching lab instrumentation and $1,500
for upgrading current CEM instrumentation. The
conditions for the program are listed below:
- The research must be conducted using a
CEM instrument.
- The candidate must submit a project proposal,
which will be held confidential to CEM's Grant
Committee.
- Should the Committee deem the proposal
worthy of funding, the candidate will be contacted
in writing, notifying him/her of the proposal's
acceptance and the level of funding awarded.
Award levels are at the sole discretion of the
Grant Committee.
