This remarkable system has a number of patented
features designed to make moisture/solids analysis
trouble-free. The temperature feedback system
controls the microwave energy to maintain a user-defined
temperature setpoint for verifiable temperature
control and repeatable conditions for every test.
Incoming line voltage is also monitored and fluctuations
normalized, providing consistent results unit-to-unit
and site-to-site.
The SMART System5 can analyze a variety of samples
including solids, powders or slurries (0.1% -
99.9% moisture). The user-friendly software provides
pre-programmed methods and help screens to guide
the operator through a test. The SMART System5

moisture, which can cause erratic and inconsistent
numbers. Our pads are tested to ensure they
meet strict requirements for absorbancy,
moisture content and mechanical strength.
CEM sample pads can be used in a standard
convection oven, infrared balance or other
microwave laboratory systems to reduce overall
drying time. Our pads are designed to hold
a variety of sample types including solids,
liquids and slurries. CEM sample pads are
approved to be used with AOAC Methods and
are manufactured according to ISO-9002 standards.
