Enzymatic Digestion Vapor Phase Hydrolysis

Liberty Accessories

The Liberty is a fully automated microwave peptide synthesizer. The system is capable of sequentially synthesizing up to 12 different peptides automatically using either Fmoc or Boc solid phase chemistry. The system comes with a computer controller that uses the PepDriver software to run the instrument. The Liberty utilizes the single mode Discover microwave system along with fiber-optic temperature technology for precise and controllable microwave energy transfer. Low-pressure nitrogen bubbling is used during microwave methods for proper mixing and covering of resin and reagents. The standard system comes with twenty 125mL amino acid reservoirs and 7 external reagent bottles that are delivered through nitrogen or argon pressure. Every reagent addition is monitored by optical sensor detection for proper addition. All amino acid, activator and TFA additions are delivered through metered sample loops for precise delivery. The standard 30mL Teflon reaction vessel allows for synthesis from 0.025 to 5.0mmol using preprogrammed cycles in the software.
